Last week, it was City winner Bringagem & 2YO first starter Test Of War notching up 3 wins in seven days in the Elite silks. Today, the show rolled on with a dominant performance by 3YO, Rubino Veloce!

Rubino Veloce has always been touted as a talent, but in his handful of starts, has never been able to put it all together. That changed in dramatic fashion today.

The son of Sebring took his place in today’s mile race at Gosford. He travelled well during the middle stages of the race, and when Josh Parr asked him for an effort, he left the rest of the field ‘standing’ as he won in dominant fashion by 3 lengths, whilst easing down on the line.

The ‘penny dropped’ today as the 3YO made easy work of the field!

Rubino Veloce was a $90k purchase by Elite Thoroughbreds from the Magic Millions. A big congratulations goes out to his owners. Judging by today’s win, there should be plenty more to come!

Hoof note: Our last 10 starters have resulted in 5 winners & 3 placegetters!
