A classy, great walking Sebring filly out of an Encosta De Lago mare who is a 3/4 sister to Group 1 winning Stallion Manhattan Rain. Grand-dam Twyla, is also a 3/4 sister to the Sires of Sires, Redoutes Choice!

This fillies half sister had her first 2YO trial on February 26th and won easily by a widening 7 LENGTHS! Watch the trial below!

Sebring is a stallion that needs absolutely no introduction, having sired the likes of Dissident, Egg Tart & Criterion. Mithila is a daughter of Champion broodmare sure, Encosta De Lago. She hails from the immediate family of Manhattan Rain & Redoutes Choice. She has had 2 to race for 2 winners including Hieracial, who ran 4th in the Group 1 Spring Champion Stakes. The 2YO half sister also had her very first trial recently where she won under no.pressure by a widening 7 lengths!

Current Status: Spelling at Jazcom. Will soon head to Bimbadeen Park to be broken in. Will then have a short spell before going into work.

Comments: ‘Very nice filly. You can see how well she uses herself when she walks. Great type, good length of hip, nice shoulder, deep girth. From an outstanding family out of an Encosta De Lago mare by a stallion that gets the results! Gary Portelli went onto say that this filly just ticks all of the boxes and we were not coming home without her!’

She will be trained by Golden Slipper winning trainer Gary Portelli. Pre-sale x-rays and scope were performed by Dr. Brett Warren. He concluded that this thoroughbred was deemed a ‘low risk’ proposition. A post-sale examination of the horse was also conducted and the report has been included in the partnership agreement.

Shares will be sold in 2.5%, 5% & 10% increments. The share price of $4,950 per 5% share is inclusive of all sale expenses, breaking in & education cost, lifetime Inglis race series nomination, initial Golden Slipper and Golden Rose race nomination, death & mortality insurance and all related registration and Racing NSW syndicate fees until June 2019.
