Capital Reign has yet again, made easy work of his first up opposition over the 900m scamper at Scone (Newcastle provincial meet).

After winning on debut at Canberra, Capital Reign ran a gallant third at Warwick Farm behind Overpass, only to pull up very shin sore the following day. He was spelled and made his return to the race track yesterday where he won just as you would expect from a $1.85 favourite.

Gary Portelli will look at his options moving forward next week, but it safe to say that he is heading in the right direction.

Capital Reign has had 3 starts for 2 wins and a third, with prizemoney already in excess of $40,000. Elite Thoroughbreds paid just $30,000 for him at the Inglis Classic Sale.
